Latest Updates from Our Project:

Free Hardcover Adventure Book & Good News on Print Job
about 2 years ago – Sat, Feb 19, 2022 at 09:49:43 PM

So...some FANTASTIC news!!!

If you don't want a free hard cover 100+ page adventure...or have already followed a previous link...skip to the Gothic Horror Print heading below.

If you want a free hardcover copy of Firestar Falling, check out This Link.

You can find out what it is and how to get it by following the link.

Many of you have already seen the promo, so I won't labour the point.

Without further ado...

Gothic Horror Print

I don't normally check my work email on Saturday, but I just did, and I saw a message from our printer:

So I'm hoping the price isn't too different. I mean, we already paid for Satin Coated paper... So we'll see how that pans out.

Though we'll seriously consider this, I won't hit the big red button until I've broken out my swatches (I seem to recall that Satin coated and uncoated were't too different, but I need to confirm) and had time to mull over the details they send on Monday.

But it's a sign things are heading in the right direction.

A Monstrous Retreat

Many of you have also been waiting patiently for this PDF and/or PRINT.

We're still dealing with quite a big backlog when it comes to layout (we have one and a half layout artists and what feels like a million projects)...but the good news is, we're pushing ahead with this and it should be done by the end of the month as per the most recent guestimate (or early March at the latest). It'll go to print as soon as we have the PDF, but things being what they are, there's no telling how long the print run will take or when it will start for that matter.

That's all I've got for today.

Any issues or questions, drop me a line.

Cheers,

Paddy

PDF and Print Update
about 2 years ago – Fri, Feb 04, 2022 at 12:23:57 PM

Hi All,

I'm playing catch up on Sunday.

So, time for an update on where we're at.

It's no secret that we're running behind schedule on print projects. Up until December we just experienced shipping issues with various projects. This month, the paper shortage issues hit us too.

That's to say our Canadian printer has told us that they don't have the material to run our usual print projects.

The good news is that Mag of Holding - Gothic Horror has been submitted for print and is currently queued for production. We're just waiting on the next paper shipment to come in. We are told that they are expecting delays in terms of weeks at the minute and not months.

We are supposed to be sending some of these books to Gary Con and the deadline for that is early March, so we're still hoping these print and ship by the end of February.

So fingers crossed!

I will keep you all posted either way.

In more news, we've had a load of great feedback on the PDF and will be sending an update shortly. Not much has changed...mainly a few language/grammar corrections for things that slipped under the radar despite several edit and proofread rounds.

So keep and eye out for that on Backerkit in the coming week.

The various print delays have had a knock on effect on other things.

A Monstrous Escape being one example. We've had the writing and art done for months, but it's taking longer than we'd like to get it through Layout with all the other backlogs also on the go.

I hope to have another update on the PDF for that next week and we do expect it to go to print in February.

That's all I've got for today.

Any questions, let me know.

Cheers,

Paddy

Print and Shipping Update
over 2 years ago – Wed, Jan 12, 2022 at 03:37:35 PM

I hope everyone has had a good start to the new year.

Just a really quick update for those of you who backed physical products.

We expect to start shipping by the end of January.

If anyone has been following previous Kickstarters, you'll know that we had a shipping issue with a reprint of Mag of Holding - Frozen Wastelands.

We didn't want to ship anything new until that was sorted out. Otherwise, you could be waiting many months longer than we'd like.

But we have a new freight company and our communication has been promising.

I'll post another update when the prints arrive at the warehouse. From there, they usually take 2/3 days to reach folks in the US, up to 1 week for Europe, and up to 2 weeks for countries further afield.

If there are any questions between now and then, send me a message.

Cheers,

Paddy

Shipping Update & Breath of the Feywild
over 2 years ago – Fri, Dec 03, 2021 at 04:58:30 PM

We launched Breath of the Feywild here!

In case you missed it.

We didn't expect to launch two Kickstarters so close together, but the shipocalypse caused things to contract quite a bit and we didn't want to launch in the middle of the Christmas holidays.

Speaking of which, I spoke with our print partner and they have given us the option to ship with another courier. So our stuff should get to the fulfillment centre quicker this time around.

The PDFs went out a few days ago, so check your Backerkit Pledge Manager if you haven't already :)

With the Christmas rush, I expect shipping of physical copies to fulfill in January.

I'll keep you posted on progress.

Breath of the Feywild exploded on launch and blasted past several stretch goals.

I'm incredibly grateful for your continued support.

Breath of the Feywild.

Cheers,

Paddy

P.S. Any questions, as always, let me know.

It lives!!!

Hey All

So this project along with a few other things behind the scenes have caused a bit of a bumpy road this past month but we are glad to say we are getting back on track. The distribution of the PDF document is now available via Backerkit once your survey is complete (and you card has been charged if needed) so keep an eye on your inboxes for download links.

In terms of physical copies, the order will go in next week for the print run and we should hopefully have it in your hands by the end of the year, the shipping gods being on our side of course.  So make sure to get your addresses in so we can get these dark tomes out to all of you.
